So.. it’s kind of wild.. and doesn’t make sense but it felt so real. It started with Jaxon (my boyfriend) acting different and dressing in different clothes, asking my opinion on a shirt I’d never seen before that had weird rips in it and he was wearing like shorts that are too short and look like a gay guy would wear. So things were not clocking right off the bat. He then goes on to tell me he’s meeting up with friends even though it’s nearly 2AM in my dream. Also very unlike Mr goes to bed at 9pm sharp daily. I tell him he needs to stay home and let’s do something else bc it’s late. He tells me ok, and we end up falling asleep., I think… but when I wake up from sleep he is gone. I look for him all over and can’t find him and don’t see his truck. But for some reason I didn’t call him in my dream I just went back to sleep but obvi I couldn’t bc what the hell where was he. So I got up again and found him in the guest bathroom running a train on a pregnant girl with another guy. He looks me dead in the eye during this dream and keeps going. I obviously freak out and go and lock myself in our bathroom and cover myself with a blanket and sob on the floor. He eventually comes in and finds me and I am so angry that I immediately go for his face but he swerves me and someone grabs the back of my neck hard and I turn around and it’s my exes mom who never liked me. She says “absolutely not” and then my ex comes in to the room around her and further restrains me. I’m basically very confused at this point and ask Jaxon wth is going on. He tells me this is basically not working out for him, no context at all and that he talked to my ex about me being crazy and that he agreed to come help him move out and that he’s leaving me. I then try to swing again and my exes mom throws me against the wall and hurts me. So I call my mom on the phone and tell her what’s going on once I’m let go. Then suddenly I get a knock at my door and when I go to open it it’s the cops and they say they are there to do an investigation on me and we’re called by my exes mom. I let them in and I just sit on the couch with my dog and wait for everything to be over. All the while Jaxon is taking his things out of the apartment and won’t speak to me. I told him he could’ve just talked to me about this and I would’ve agreed to break the lease if he really wanted to go that bad. Any who the cops basically clear me and say that I was accused of using hard drugs and selling them, but they of course found nothing, as I’m surveying the apartment after, I find my cat missing and all her things. So I run out to the parking lot and luckily they are still out there packing stuff up and I see Zelda just in Jaxon’s arms ready to go. I say give me my fucking cat back she’s not yours. He’s like but she likes me more and cmon you can get another cat. I said fuck no I want my cat and you can’t take her shit that I paid for. He literally had her litter robot in his truck. Luckily the cops made him give it back to me and before I woke up in reality I was sitting on my couching with my animals just bawling. I felt so alone and panicking bc I obvi couldn’t afford the apartment on my own, and my mom was going back to sleep so I just sat there unsure, then my heart actually racing woke me up.. and now I’m just awake
This dream is both vivid and intense, and it involves a mix of emotions and conflicting scenarios that can be unsettling. Let's break down some potential meanings and interpretations:
Trust Issues and Doubts: The dream begins with your boyfriend Jaxon acting out of character, wearing unfamiliar clothes and behaving in ways that aren't typical for him. This could symbolize underlying doubts or uncertainties you might have about his reliability or authenticity in the relationship.
Fear of Betrayal: The incident of finding Jaxon with another person in a compromising situation may reflect fears of betrayal or infidelity. Your reaction — feeling hurt and angry — might represent fears of being abandoned or betrayed in real life.
Feeling Overpowered or Controlled: Your ex's mother and ex physically restraining you suggests feelings of powerlessness or being controlled by people in your past or present. This can also reflect unresolved issues or tensions with people from previous relationships.
Communication Breakdown: Jaxon’s inability or unwillingness to communicate and his decision to leave without discussing it highlights concerns about communication in your relationship. It suggests a fear of sudden loss or change without explanation.
Authority and Judgment: The arrival of the police and being cleared of accusations might suggest feelings of being judged or misunderstood by others. It could indicate a need to assert your autonomy and clear misconceptions about yourself.
Loss and Separation Anxiety: Losing your cat, Zelda, and having to fight to get her back represents fear of losing something precious or meaningful to you. It can be a metaphor for feeling like aspects of your life are being taken from you without consent.
Financial Anxiety and Independence: Your fear of being unable to afford the apartment alone touches on anxieties about financial independence and stability. It suggests an underlying worry about being left to handle responsibilities alone.
Need for Support: Calling your mom and then finding she is going back to sleep can reflect a need for emotional support, perhaps feeling isolated even from those you expect to be there for you in times of need.
Identity and Autonomy: Your insistence on getting your cat back symbolizes the struggle for independence and control over your life. It shows a determination not to let others dictate terms on matters you value deeply.
This dream is a powerful reflection of emotions and situations that might be causing stress or anxiety in your life. It could be helpful to evaluate your feelings about your relationship, communication issues, and any past experiences that might be affecting your current state of mind. Engaging in open communication with your partner and seeking support where needed could help alleviate some of these concerns.
